Design of the interactive football quiz

The design that we used for the actual quiz was very basic because as mentioned before we didn't know too much about html and we wanted to make sure that it was done correctly and despite the quiz looking plain it was created by four of us from scratch in Microsoft paint without nothing but the notes our tutor had given us and some tips that we got off the internet . The drawing that you could see on our home page was also created from scratch in paint which I feel justifies the work that we put in while undertaking this task.

Difficulties that I came across while doing the interactive quiz

We had difficulties in the group task for the football quiz because we had approximately three weeks to do this project but unfortunately due to the four of us living in different counties it became very difficult to meet up outside of college to discuss our plans although we did manage to meet up two or three times. There were also a couple of times were group members failed to show up  for a meeting and this set us back a little. Although we feel that we had the appropriate time to complete the task was adequate and we managed to do it by the deadline date. 

Self evaluation for Interactive football quiz

In the group I participated in planning and final development of the overall task. As the task began I arranged and documented the minutes, minutes of who was present in the meeting and what topics would be discussed in that particular meeting and in the next one also. I did research on our football quiz on the internet , looking up questions about teams and leagues from around the world. The questions I gathered were then looked over by the group and then questions were then picked out from the draft work.
the next thing I had to do was work on the navigation chart with one of the group members.

Some questions we have suggested are as follow:

• What does Fifa stand for?
• Who has scored the most EPL goals
• Who has most caps for Ireland?
• Who has won the most champions league?
• What team has won the most premier league titles?

Today 22 / 03 / 2012 all group members attended the meeting and had relevant information to add to the groups task.

Today we specified the tasks that were supposed to be done. we gathered notes from classwork then started research on football.

We gathered relevant questions that were supposed to be asked then we made a draft  html document and also made a draft questionnaire.

Today 01 / 03 / 2012 in my multimedia class I had to go on the web and search a site called ' GoAnimate' it brings you a collection of scenes from daily life for you to re-enact and make up comical, satirical or even dramatic stories.

how to do it?

1). Select a template

2). Choose characters

3). Pull a script out of your best life observations

4). Watch your masterpiece!

This was the first time I had created any sort of animation and I enjoyed doing it because it was something different and fun to do.

My league table html

Today 15 / 03 / 2012 I created my very own html page, it contained league tables and logos of 3 premier league teams, Manchester united,Manchester city and Tottenham hotspurs.


first I had to download teams logos in jpeg format,

then resize each in paint to 50x50

add another column to the right of your table with the heading of logo , and insert each corresponding team logo. this was a good experience and was fun to do because it was the first time I had ever created a html page.

Interactive football Quiz

Today on the 08 / 03 / 2012 we got a new brief for Multimedia project development and Multimedia authoring its due on the 19th 04 2012

the project is to design and produce an interactive multimedia quiz on a topic of your choice.
The project was a group task, there were 4 members in the group.
First we thought of what our will be about then after talking about it we then decided on doing a quiz about football.
we then decided on specific jobs for people in the group, my role was Minutes/Note taker

Green Hands Design brief

Title: logo required for garden centre

client brand: Green hands

client : Thomas green and Eduard Hand have joined forces together to open a new garden centre called 'green hands'. they love the name but have no idea what type of logo they should use.

Background: the garden centre will be located next door to Dunboyne train station.

Target audience: Everybody - we want to appeal to everybody ,we need all costumers we can get

Requirements : we are looking for a logo that represents our garden centre - green hands, we are planning to have an on-line presence so the logo must incorporate both print and screen

as we said we want to appeal to everybody so the logo must do the same .
friendliness is something we want to portray.
we don't mind colour but not a rainbow effect.

Time scale: 2 weeks
Budget : €3000
